Main Entrance and Lobby to remain open, Drive and Parking Lot to remain open for student drop-off and pick-up. Kindergarten Room A103 to be utilized as temporary Administration Offices. Visitor's entrance to temporary Administration Offices to be through exterior door to Kindergarten Room A103. Designated as Area 'B' on Phasing Drawing. JULY 17, 2023 - Substantial Completion of Administration Offices, Nurse's Clinic, Principal, Reception, Conference, Special Ed Room and Main Entrance. Designated as Area 'B' on Phasing Drawing. MARCH 20, 2023 - Relocate Administration Office into Kindergarten Room A103 over spring break week. Start renovation of existing Administration Offices. Owner to occupy new Classrooms on October 16, 2023. Designated as Area 'A' on Phasing Drawing. OCTOBER 23, 2023 - Start renovation of existing 3 Kindergarten Rooms. Designated as Area 'D' on Phasing Drawing NOVEMBER 23, 2023 - Substantial Completion of 3 existing Kindergarten Rooms. Owner to occupy on November 27, 2023. Designated as Area 'D' on Phasing Drawing. DECEMBER 4, 2023 - Renovate 4 Third Grade Classrooms, Media Center and Conference Room. Install new window units and complete finishes in Special Ed Classroom over Christmas break. Designated as Area 'E' on Phasing Drawing. JANUARY 25, 2024 - Substantial Completion of 4 Third Grade Classrooms, Media Center and Conference Room. Install new window units and complete finishes in Special Ed Classroom over Christmas break. Media Center and Conference Room to be completed by December 28, 2023. Owner to occupy Third Grade Classrooms, Media Center and Conference Room on January 29,2024. Designated as Area 'E' on Phasing Drawing. FEBRUARY 5, 2024 - Renovate 4 Classrooms 4th/5th Grade Wing. Designated as Area 'F' on Phasing Drawing. MARCH 14, 2024 - Substantial Completion of 4 4th/5th Grade Classrooms. Owner to occupy Classrooms on March 18, 2024. Designated as Area 'F' on Phasing Drawing MARCH 18, 2024 - Renovate 2 Classrooms 4th/5,h Grade Wing and 2 adjacent Rooms. Designated as Area 'G' on Phasing Drawing. APRIL 18, 2024 - Substantial Completion of 4 Classrooms 4th/5th Grade Wing and 2 adjacent Rooms. Owner to occupy these rooms on April 22, 2024.Designated as Area 'G' on Phasing Drawing. APRIL 29, 2024 - Renovate 4 Classrooms 2nd Grade Wing. Designated as Area 'H' on Phasing Drawing. MAY 30, 2024 - Substantial Completion of 4 Classrooms 2nd Grade Wing. Designated as Area 'H' on Phasing Drawing. JUNE 3, 2024 - Install New Gym Bleachers, Goals, Ceiling, Install Stage Lighting and Finishes and new Stage Curtain/Door, Refinish Gym Floor, Renovate Art, Music and adjacent Rooms A108, A150, A160 and A200.Designated as Area 'I' on Phasing Drawing. AUGUST 2, 2024 - Substantial Completion of Installation of New Gym Bleachers, Goals, Ceiling, Install Stage Lighting and Finishes and new Stage Curtain/Door, Refinish Gym Floor, Renovate Art Music and adjacent Rooms A108, A150, A160 and A200. Designated as Area 'I' on Phasing Drawing. Bid as follows: a lump sum Unified Bid. Bids received later than such hour will be returned unopened. Doc Acq Note: The deposit will be refunded in full to the prime contract bidder when the Plans and Specifications have been returned to Repro Graphix within ten (10) days after the time set for receiving bids, in good reusable condition. If Plans and Specifications are returned after this ten (10) day limit, or in an unusable condition, the deposit shall be forfeited to cover the cost of reproduction. All mailing costs shall be paid by bidder. The successful bidder shall, upon acceptance of his bid, be required to procure and pay for a Contractor's Bond for Construction (Form 86A or AIA Form A312) in an amount equal to his contract price. Such bonds shall comply with all laws of the State of Indiana governing public contracts let by governmental units. Bids should be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to the School Corporation, with the name and place of business of the bidder and the project name to which the bid relates on the envelope, all as more particularly set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids submitted by mail should be addressed to Dr. Tracy Lorey, Superintendent, Greater Jasper Consolidated Schools, 1520 Saint Charles Street, Jasper, Indiana 47546. No Bids received by fax or email will be accepted.Bids should be made on the form included in the Project Manual which is based on the Indiana StateBoard of Accounts Form 96 (Revised 2013), and shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety company, payable to the order of the School Corporation, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. In the event any bidder withdraws his bid or fails to execute a satisfactory contract or contracts and furnish a satisfactory performance bond or bonds within ten (10) days after a contract or contracts has been awarded to such bidder by the School Corporation, said School Corporation may declare his certified check or cashier's check or bid bond forfeited to said School Corporation as liquidated damages. The School Corporation shall have the right: to accept any Bid within sixty (60)days after the time of opening of the Bids, during which time no Bids shall be withdrawn; at any time to reject any and all Bids; and to waive all formalities or irregularities in the bidding. Contractors will be required to complete their work within a certain specified period as provided in Section 01 11 00 of the specifications. Anticipated On-Site Construction Start: November 2022.
