The CITY is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from Consultants (CONSULTANT) interested in providing professional services for Water Treatment Plant (WTP) System and Citywide Water Distribution (WD) System Engineering Services associated with the Capital Improvement Program (CIP), Public Works/Maintenance, and other community development projects. The CITY of Martinez has a Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget for expenditures on capital projects such as major street or park improvements, building construction, and major facility maintenance. The CIP provides a plan for projects that are in progress or will be undertaken during the next two fiscal years. Extensive program funding is provided through grant and Measure monies and selective commitments from Reserves for projects requiring immediate attention. Questions are due no later than 4:00 P.M., Thursday, September 15, 2022 to Ali Hatefi, PE, Senior Civil Engineer, ahatefi@cityofmartinez.org Following submission of SOQs, a CONSULTANT will be selected and will be required to enter into the CITYs Standard Agreement for Professional Services with the CITY. The term of the agreement is anticipated to be three (3) years, with a possible one-year extension. It is anticipated that the contract amount is approximately a not to exceed amount of $500,000 per year. The design of this project was completed by the owners in-house design professional. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
