Q&A Deadline 09/26/2022 5:00 PM (PDT) The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, plans, and incidentals required for the above stated project as set forth in the Specifications, and Contract Documents therefore, and to perform all work in the manner and time prescribed therein. The general items of work to be done hereunder consist of a design/build project. The contractor shall provide design and audio system for Moreno arena and work with City Staff to develop a system that provides sound for special events, equestrian events, and a public address system. The contractor shall develop specifications and drawings to be submitted and approved by the City prior to construction and installation of the existing system to meet the satisfaction of the City of Norco. The successful bidder shall be licensed according with the provisions of the Business and Professional Code and shall possess a Class C-10 license at the time this contract is awarded. The successful Contractor and his/her subcontractors will be required to possess business licenses from the City of Norco. The City will deduct a 5 percent retention from all progress payments
The successful Contractor and his/her subcontractors will be required to possess a business license from the City of Norco. The City's request for bids and proposals, bid results, and notices of an award are obtained through the City of Norco Vendor Portal. The City's policy is to award bids to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Requests for proposals are awarded to the company whose proposal provides the best overall value and best meets the needs of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity or informality in any bid to the extent permitted by law.
