The University of Minnesota is requesting Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) services to participate in the partial renovation of Shepherd Laboratories (located at 100 Union St SE). The Project will renovate the existing 3rd and 4th Floors (entirety) along with approximately two-thirds of 5th Floor for the College of Science & Engineering (CSE). The 13,000 GSF floor plates of Shepherd Laboratories will look to accommodate new robotics and vision, virtual reality/ augmented reality and graphics/visualization, human computer interaction/ social computing and natural language processing Workforce Goals: 32% minority; 20% female; 2% disabled Targeted Business (TGB) Inclusion Goal: 13%
