Site Directions: 2006 E Newberry St Appleton WI 54915 Pre-Qualification: Yes Base Bid Work at Building V consists of the removal of the existing lay-in ceiling system, new paint on all walls, hollow metal doors & frames, and associated wall mounted items on the entry and upper levels. Alternate Bid Work consists of painting existing columns and beams on the lower level. Bidder will be required to have Performance Bond/Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract. Cost of Bond shall be included in Bid. No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a bid bond equal to five percent of the bid, payable to the City as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 10 days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. If the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid deemed for the best interests of the City and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
