All contractors preparing bids for the referenced project shall maintain a current Alabama Contractor's License. If requested, a contractor shall provide a letter from the Office of the Secretary of State confirming registration. If evidence cannot be provided by the contractor, the contractor's bid will be rejected. 12,000 feet of 3 phase 954-37 AAC Magnolia Conductor and 3/8" static wire over energized 12,470 volt distribution line on pre-installed and pre-framed concrete poles. Said cost represents the cost of printing, reproduction, handling and distribution therefore, no refund will be issued. Electronic copies in PDF format will be available upon request at no cost. All bids shall be submitted in the Specifications Proposal and Contract Documents Book issued by the Owner. Bids not submitted in the Specifications Proposal and Contract Documents Book will not be opened. The successful bidder will be required to submit Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the lowest, responsive bidder. All bidders must comply with requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work on which the proposal is submitted. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
