L02-02155 Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated on the Bid Form. BID SECURITY - No Bid shall be received unless accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to the Owner in an amount no less than five percent (5%) of the maximum bid as a guarantee, that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Insurance Certification, as required by the Contract Documents within fifteen (15) days after the Notice of Award and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after bid deadline. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Prevailing wage rates are not required for this project. Sealed bids are solicited for the: Marina Improvements Project, for the Village of L'Anse, Baraga County, Michigan. The project includes: removal of existing floating pier, installation of new floating pier, concrete wall/bench and restoration.
