Site work, paving, outdoor lighting and new construction of a mixed-use development in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; playground / park / athletic field; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of November 29, 2022, project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. The project includes, but is not limited to: 1. Clearing and grading of existing surface materials. 2. New playground with tower, bridge, slides and log climbers. 3. New comfort station building with community room. 4. Concrete paving, curbs and walls 5. Landscaping including but not limited to boulders, soil, irrigation and plants, etc. 6. Site furnishings of benches, tables, bicycle ramps, interpretive signage, etc. 7. Site lighting and electrical 8. Site utilities including stormwater management, new sewer and water connections. 9. Concrete and asphalt paving, ADA ramp in the right of way If sending via courier, please do not require signature. Bids will be opened, bid tabulation completed, and uploaded to our website by end of day. Bids received a fter the appointed time set for receipt will be returned unopened. All work completed for the Metropolitan Park District will be considered a public works project with prevailing wage documentation required.
