Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Walnut, Kansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of replacing the existing two-span steel beam bridge with a 40 foot single span steel beam bridge. Bids will be presented to the Pawnee County Commissioners at their meeting in the Pawnee County Courthouse Commission room at 10:00 a.m. local time October 10, 2022. Questions regarding bids shall be directed in writing to Brett Wilkinson at bwilkinson@kirkham.com a minimum of two (2) calendar days prior to the date of the bid opening. Site Directions: Located 6 miles north and 4.5 miles west of Larned on U Road
