The Town of Essex is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ)s from Architectural firms to conduct a space needs analysis for the Town Administrative Offices and Town Fire Station. The Town is seeking an Architectural firm with expertise in planning and designing for such projects as outlined in the bid. We are not seeking a detailed scope of work or cost proposal at this time. The owner of the project is The Town of Essex and the local project lead will be Tom Yandow, Facilities Manager. All technical questions related to this bid should be directed to him. The lead local contact, Project Manager (PM), and administrative support for the project is Tom Yandow, Facilities Manager, Town of Essex, 81 Main Street, Essex Junction, Vermont 05452 - phone (802) 585-5883 or email tjyandow@essex.org. The contractor will work directly with the PM throughout the whole process. All technical questions related to this RFQ should be directed to Tom Yandow. Questions will be answered up to September 9, 2022, after which a compiled list of all questions asked and answers will be furnished to all interested firms. It is the goal of the Town to review the Statements of Qualifications and the Selection Committee to meet collectively and choose the three most qualified firms within two weeks of the submission deadline. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
