This Contract provides for the furnishment and installation of approximately 943 lineal feet of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer main. The sewer will be installed within the existing City of Vancouver Sanitary Sewer right-of-way, including all laterals, manholes, and all appurtenances as shown on the plans and specified herein. This work will include abandoning in place 1110 lineal feet of 8-inch of existing gravity sewer main and decommission 5 existing manholes and 1 existing sewer pump station and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The contract work shall be fully complete within 30 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
