Alderwood Water & Wastewater District (District) is requesting Proposal submittals from firms qualified and interested in providing professional construction management and inspection services for the Districts J2210 2022 Construction Management Services Project. The Request for Proposals and any addenda prepared by the District are available on the Districts web site under projects for bid. Any firm failing to submit information in accordance with the procedures set forth in the Request for Proposal may not be considered responsive and may therefore be subject to disqualification by the District. Through this Request for Proposals, the District intends to create a multi-year relationship with multiple firms who have shown they have the resources, technical knowledge and experience to manage various sized mechanical, and/or civil projects for the District. SUMMARY OF WORK: The scope of work is to provide construction management, coordination, and inspection services for the multiple projects that include the following types of work: A. Demolition and installation of various mechanical and electrical equipment at the Picnic Point wastewater treatment facility including HVAC upgrades, heat exchanger repair, polymer injection system, and odor control upgrades. B. Construction and demolition of 3 active sewer lift stations and demolition of one inactive lift station. C. Installation of 1,500 linear feet of new 10-inch diameter HDPE sewer lift station force main and abandon existing force main in place. D. Installation of six pre-manufactured pressure reducing valve stations and associated site piping and appurtenances, installation of ductile iron water main ranging in size from 8-inch to 12-inch in diameter. This project will also include completing modifications to five existing PRV stations including electrical, instrumentations, programming and appurtenances.
