Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Battle Mountain, Nevada. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; and water / sewer project.

The Principal items of work for the Well 6 Arsenic Removal Water Treatment Plant Project will consist of: Minimal site grading; Installing a reinforced concrete ringwall footing and hold-down hardware in the footing for a 135,500-gallon bolted steel backwash tank; Install 12-inch site piping, meter vault, backflow prevention assembly vault, drain piping and sump, backwash tank inlet and outlet piping and connections to existing water storage tank and distribution system piping; Install 3 filter vessels and associated piping including treatment plant inter-tie piping; Install new 40'x 68' metal building including reinforced concrete floor slab, 14-foot roll-up door, two (2) 3-foot access doors, insulation, slotted floor drain, steel catwalk and concrete aprons; Install building HVAC equipment including wall louver, evaporative cooler and stand and two (2) unit heaters; Install building plumbing including hose bibs, yard hydrants, 1-inch water piping, PRV, backflow preventers, sink, electric water heater, drain piping and vents; Install building power service extension from existing well and booster station building, new treatment plant electrical power and lighting, 400 kW generator and ATS and shunt trip; Install SCADA equipment including connections and integration with new treatment plant PLC, backwash tank level transducer and new distribution system meter remote read; Install new 60 hp vertical, in-line, multi-stage centrifugal booster pump, piping, valving and connections to existing suction and discharge piping; Install new VFD drive unit for new booster pump and electrical connections to existing power. For performing the work as set forth in the Specifications for the WELL 6 ARSENIC WATER TREATMENT PLANT PROJECT. The Lander County Commissioners will consider awarding the contract at the next regularly scheduled Commissioner's Meeting. To assure consideration, all proposals shall be made on the blank form of the proposal attached to these Specifications. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities in any bid or in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish both a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the full amount of the Contract Price for the contract.
