SCOPE: In accordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code, Chapter 2269 Subchapter D, Competitive Sealed Proposal Method, and Rules and Procedures adopted by the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC), TFC is soliciting proposals for construction of a shared Boardroom in the George HW Bush Building, 1801 Congress, Austin, Texas. The shared Boardroom is located on the 4th floor of the Bush Building. The Boardroom and its associated spaces total approximately 5,000 square feet, and consist of the Boardroom, IDF rooms, a pre-function space and storage. The Bush Building is an occupied building and consideration shall be given as such. Work will be permitted during regular business hours. A service elevator and loading dock will be available, but use must be coordinated through the Owner. The 4th Floor restrooms and breakroom will be available for contractor and subcontractor use and shall be maintained and cleaned as part of this project. Construction is required to commence within thirty (30) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The contract period is projected for a term of one hundred fifty (150) calendar days except as may be otherwise amended or negotiated.
