Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

No definite date for the rebid.** The Fitchburg Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from General Contractors for the Site Improvements and Basement Repairs for the House at 174 Milk Street in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Richard Alvord Architects The Project consists of: Replacement of existing bituminous driveway, sidewalk and foundation interceptor drain site work; exterior foundation buttress, foundation remedial repairs and first floor framing repairs. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J. Bids are subject to Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work -- General Building Construction and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime Update Statement (Form CQ 3). General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of bid amount and made payable to the Fitchburg Housing Authority. This deposit will be refunded for up to two sets for general bidders and for one set for sub-bidders upon return of the sets in good condition within thirty days of receipt of general bids. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the Awarding Authority. Additional sets may be purchased for $50.00. Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $40.00 per set for UPS Ground (or $65.00 per set for UPS overnight) 1. All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the Specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. 2. Site Improvements and Basement Repairs to single family wood framed house: Hazardous Materials Abatement, Selective Demolition, Concrete Work, Exterior Railing, Carpentry, Site Work. Replacement of existing bituminous driveway, sidewalk, foundation interceptor drain site work, exterior foundation concrete buttress, foundation remedial repairs, first floor framing repairs, and new stair.
