Questions regarding this bid are due Tuesday, September 20, 2022 no later than 3:00 pm Pacific Time. Responses to inquiries received will be posted online by Tuesday, October 4, 2022, 5:00 pm Pacific Time. Bidders are hereby notified that pursuant to provisions of Section 1770, et seq., of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Contractor shall pay its employees the general prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Director of Department of Industrial Relations. In addition, the Contractor shall be responsible for compliance with the requirements of Section 1777.5 of the California Labor Code relating to apprentice public works contracts. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. In the event the contractual services agreement issued as a result of this Notice Inviting Bids the Contractor shall pay its employees the general prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Director of Department of Industrial Relations, the Living Wage or the Minimum Wage, whichever is higher.
