Southwest campus buildings 100, 200, & 300 selective demolition for bishop state community college mobile, alabama Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is MANDATORY for all General Contractor Bidders and Vendors intending to submit a Proposal. The Work of the project includes but is not limited to: Selective Interior Demolition to improvements and all related work at Southwest Building 100, 200, and 300 as indicated on the drawings; connections to existing improvements, temporary protections, and all related work. Project completion time for the contract is sixty (60) calendar days. Bidders shall provide a fulfillment date with their proposal. Fulfillment date will be a consideration of the contract award. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to BISHOP STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds, insurance in compliance with requirements, and verification of E-Verify enrollment will be required at the signing of the Contract. This project is being bid, under the provisions of Alabama Act 2000-684, which require the General Contractor, in part, to take advantage of the Owner's tax-exempt status, obtain necessary certificates and other documentation required from the Alabama Department of Revenue, make payment for all materials, and to administer the sales and use tax savings portion of the project, as a part of their Bid. Additional qualifications and requirements for General Contractor Bidders and separate Subcontractors are indicated in the Bid and Contract Documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in their judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
