The SBHC is seeking bid proposals from qualified and properly licensed Building Contractors who will be able to supply all supervision, labor, materials and equipment to complete all interior components of the weight room building at the Lake Placid Athletic Complex in Lake Placid, Florida as specified in these RFBP documents. Contractors must be appropriately licensed to do business in the State of Florida and must be in the business of similar work as detailed within these specifications. The proposals received timely will be evaluated and recommended for award as stated in these RFBP documents. Performance and Payment Bond(s): If the total cost of the bid as submitted by the bidder exceeds $200,000.00 then they shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount and shall include all costs associated with providing the bonds in their proposed Bid Proposal. The bond shall be with a surety insurer authorized to do business in the state of Florida and shall be as set forth in 255.05, Florida Statutes. Contractor may utilize the enclosed forms. All required premiums shall be paid by the successful bidder and the amount of the premiums shall be included in his Bid Proposal. Utilize AIA document A312 for Performance and Payment Bonds. All work is expected to be conducted over the 2022-23 school year during normal business hours.
