Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for the addition of a 4,950-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a 4,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to obtain competitive bids for procuring a General Contractor ("GC" or "Contractor") to furnish, install, manage, and coordinate all the work for the Sato Elementary Classroom addition. This is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. This solicitation is for retaining a qualified general contractor (GC) to furnish, install, manage and coordinate all work as shown in the attached documents on behalf of the Beaverton School District. Pre-construction will begin on or around November 1st, 2022 with BSD School Board approval and execution of a binding contract. Construction is set to commence on or around March 27th, 2023 The project consists of approximately 4,950 SF addition to the existing building and renovation of approximately 4,000 SF resulting in a new library and 5 new classrooms. The school will be occupied during the initial phase of construction and will require temporary protection separating construction activities from school activities. Activities while occupied will be limited to work outside of current occupied building space. The location of the project is Sato Elementary School, 7775 NW Kaiser Rd, Portland, OR 97229. The school will be vacated in mid-June 2023 and must be operational by August 28, 2023. The District requires the project to be completed by end of August 2023. The school will be occupied during the initial phase of construction beginning in March 2023. This initial phase of construction will be limited to work outside of current occupied building space.
