Perpetuation project to resurface approximately 15.6 miles of I-41 from County D in Fond du Lac County to STH 26. Major tasks include preliminary design, review of environmental impacts, drainage analysis, final design, secondary structure design and PS&E preparation. The existing cable guard will be replaced. Project deliverables include preliminary plans, environmental document, structure survey report, design study report, and PS&E. The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultants actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract.
