Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Gloucester Point, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Woodville Park Athletic Fields Renovations including but not limited to re-grading fields to meet both Football and Soccer playing field regulation standards, installing an irrigation system, electrical conduit and wiring, controls systems, laser grading, installation of turf and grow in, here in after to be referred to as the Project. The Project is located at 3904 Woodville Park Road, Hayes, VA 23072. Background: Woodville Park is the Countys largest park, at 100 acres. The front 50 acres have been developed and include seven atletic fields, two ponds, a teaching garden, a memorial garden, and boardwalk, walking trails and fully accessible playground. The park is u tilized extensively for youth soccer and football, as well as some adult leagues. During seasonal play, hundreds of children are at Woodville on any given day. The park land was donated by a citizen, and construction has occurred mostly through donations and grants, although some County funding has been provided. Unfortunately, some of the fields are graded such that it prohibits play due to the existing slopes. This project will bring the fields up to industry standards, making the fields playable by all General Scope of Work: (To be more specifically defined in the contract documents.) Contractor shall furnish and provide all labor, tools, and materials to: 1. Install erosion and sediment control, (E&S), structures for the project and maintain E&S for the duration of the project. 2. Establish construction scheduling such that all field grass grow in is completed during the month of August 2023. 3. Maintain a clean site. 4. Rough Grade Fields No. 4, No. 5 No. 6, No. 7 5. Regrade existing interior ditches. 6. Clean out the entrance of the irrigation Pond. 7. Install irrigation pump and controls, install irrigation headers to the fields, install irrigation on Fields No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 No. 6, No. 7 8. Laser Grade Fields No. 4, No. 5 No. 6, No. 7 9. Install turf on Fields No. 4, No. 5 No. 6, No. 7 10. Grow in turf on Fields No. 4, No. 5 No. 6, No. 7 11. Warranty work and grass for one year after substantial completion 12. Install light bases for fields No. 4 13. Optional work (at the discretion of the County): a. Rough Grade Field No. 3, Install Turf on Field No. 3 Grow in turf on Field No. 3 b. Install overhead light bases for Field No. 3 and conduit runs to power the lights. c. Install goal post (each end) on Field No. 4, No. 5, and No. 7 d. Warranty work and grass for one year after substantial completion
