Submittal of a proposal does not create any right or expectation to a contract with the Parish. The scope of work contained under this section shall be fully included under bid item "2. Miscellaneous Sitework & Access"; per EACH. The work includes clearing of vegetative matter and other debris and obstacles, and the erection and maintenance of required PROJECT SIGN(s), traffic signage, barricades, and flagmen, as required by the LaDOTD to accommodate the passage of construction equipment from the existing public roads to the designated laterals This item of work specifically includes removal and replanting of specified shrubbery which may, in the judgment of the engineer, be threatened by the proposed work. Additionally, at roadway crossings of any designated channel; i.e., permitted as a "Point of Access" (POA), the contractor shall remove all drift, debris, and vegetation from the channel bottom beginning at a point 100' upstream of the roadway drainage structure to a point 50' downstream of said bridge, including underneath the bridge structure (pilings/headwalls), inside of an enclosed RCPICMP culvert, or inside of a reinforced concrete box culvert where applicable.
Each Proposal must be sealed. The outside of the envelope, box or package should be marked with the Proposer's Name and Address, the Proposal Name, the RFP #, and the Proposal Opening Date. The successful Respondent must supply St. Tammany Parish Government with all required documentation as specified in the RFP documents. Said Respondent must also be in Good Standing and licensed to do business in the State of Louisiana. Pre-Proposal Conference (if required):* N/A
