The Town of Sterling is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for snow plowing, snow removal, and the distribution of treated road sand for 48 miles of Town roads located in Sterling during the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 winter seasons. It is the intent of the Town of Sterling to hire four (4) contractors to plow the various sections of Town roads.The Town will provide sand and salt, ten foot (10') plow, and six yard (6 yd.) sander to the successful candidates. Qualified candidates must be insured and attain all proper equipment.Bid packages need to be fully completed and signed in order to qualify for the contract. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids that are not in the best interest of the Town of Sterling.
