Sealed proposal envelopes shall state the project name, and the date and time of the bid. No proposals may be withdrawn after the scheduled bid opening time. Any proposals received after the scheduled proposal opening time will not be opened or considered. Proposals will only be accepted from Prequalified Contractors. The Project generally consists of approximately 14,000-LF of 24-inch through 6-inch Ductile Iron and C900 DR 14 PVC Waterline and associated appurtenances. The prospective bidder s attention is directed to the Bid Documents where detailed instruction and provisions are contained concerning bidding requirements, bonds, insurance, and other Project requirements. As outlined in the Instructions to Bidders, bids must be accompanied by an acceptable bid security payable to the Owner equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount.
