The Workis generally located within an approximate 30-footcorridor from the 210 Wastewater Treatment Facility adjacent to the Johnston County Landfill (680 County Home Road, Smithfield NC 27577) to County-owned property on the Neuse River. The Work consists of thefollowing:1.Installation of approximately 22,600 linear feet of 30-incheffluent force main. 2.Installation of approximately 1,100 linear feet of 48-incheffluent gravity outfall.3.New effluent force main headwall.4.Access road from Galilee Road to Neuse River.5.New Dechlorination Building, chemical feed vaults, and emergency generator. The Work will be financed by the State Revolving Fund loan under the Federal Clean Water Revolving Loan and Grant Act of 1987 (CS370560-18). Biddershall make positive efforts to use small and minority-owned businesses and comply with NC Division of Water Infrastructure MBE/WBE requirements and GS 143-128. The contracted bidder shall comply with federal AIS and Davis Bacon requirements throughout the project.
