The project includes approximately: 70 S.Y. 4-inch Concrete Sidewalk, 140 SY 6-inch Concrete Pavement, 2,600 SY 8-inch Concrete Pavement, 3,750 SY Saw-cut, Remove and Dispose of Existing Concrete Slabs or Pavement, 2,500 LF Remove and Replace 6-inch High 24-inch wide Curb & Gutter, temporary traffic cones and barricades, and other miscellaneous items. This is an annual street repair project and quantities may be more or less than in the bid schedule to meet the project budget. Street repairs will be located in all areas of the City. Prequalification is not required. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities and/or to accept the bid or bids deemed best for the City. A 5% Bid Bond is due with the bids. A Payment Bond and Performance Bond will be required for this project. A Maintenance Bond will be required (1-year, 100%). Only those Bids received from Contractors who have obtained the plans and specifications for this project from the City of Heath and are listed on the City's plan holders list, will be opened at the bid opening for consideration.
