The project corridor runs approximately 500 feet west from the existing sanitary sewer immediately north of this intersection, and then turns south and continues for approximately 175 feet where it intersects an existing sanitary sewer It is the City's intent to construct a bypass sanitary sewer from immediately north of the intersection of Charlotte and Gorham Streets to a point approximately 675 feet downstream on the existing sanitary sewer. The project includes: the installation of a new manhole on the existing Charlotte Street sanitary sewer located immediately north of the intersection of Charlotte and Gorham Streets, and the installation of new sanitary sewer, complete, to include piping and manholes, from the aforementioned new manhole approximately 500 feet west in the Gorham Street right of way, and the installation of new sanitary sewer, complete, to include piping and manholes, from the terminus of the new sanitary sewer installed in Gorham Street, south, within an existing sanitary sewer easement, to an intersection with an existing sanitary sewer, and the installation of a new manhole on the aforementioned existing sanitary sewer to connect the new work to the existing sanitary sewer, and the full restoration of all disturbed areas to their pre-construction conditions.
