Construction of Station 15, it was decided that this should be a "green build" to reduce London Fire Department's (LFD) carbon footprint and to set a standard for future station builds and retrofits. Question Deadline 03/21/2024 at 2:00 PM ET The project is to construct a new single storey Fire Station 15 approx. 8,510 sq ft through a Stipulated Price Sum Contract (CCDC2-2020) on a 1.8 acre site located at 2340 Old Victoria Road in London Ontario. The building includes but is not limited to: - Single-storey slab on grade fire station; - Two (2) bay drive through to meet F2 OBC classification; - Accommodation for up to five (5) Fire Fighters with separate dormitories; - Accommodation for one (1) Captain office/dormitory; - Fire Prevention Office; - Study Room; - Fitness Room; - Common great room that incorporates training, kitchen and eating areas to accommodate up to nine (9) Fire Fighters in the future; - Washrooms with shower facilities; - Exterior Ventilated Bunker gear storge room; - Decontamination zone with laundry, storage, extractor and separate showers; - Parking and landscape features.
