Site work and paving for a road / highway in Whitby, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The intent of this Tender is to establish a contract for all labour, materials, equipment & supervision necessary to complete Harbour Street Extension and Cul-de-sac as required by the Town of Whitby. The extension of Harbour Street will be to the south of its existing end point, and will be terminated with a Cul-de-sac. The scope of work includes removals, excavation, grading, granular and asphalt pavement, signage and other adjustments to infrastructure, as shown on the tender drawings as part of this contract document. The project area is located in environmental area regulated by the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority, otherwise known as CLOCA. Construction of the cul-de-sac will require the removal of approx. 750 square meters of existing wetland, as shown on the Contract Drawings. However, the Contractor shall ensure that no other wetland area is impacted by the Contractor's construction activities. Please refer to the wetland boundary plan included in the Contract Drawings package, located in Part E - Contract Drawings. Contract Time - Six (6) weeks.
