The County of Ulster ("the County") is requesting Statements of Qualifications from solar developers to develop and build a solar array on a 73.9 acre foreclosure eligible parcel in the Town of Plattekill, Ulster County. The site, referred to as the Hertel Landfill, is a closed and capped landfill. It is listed on the EPA Superfund Program's National Priorities List. As part of this SOQ the County also seeks site development concepts from responders. Under this SOQ the successful firm will be expected to execute a Development Agreement, or other type of agreement, with the County or an assigned Local Development Corporation formalizing the specific contractual responsibilities to complete the Project.
