Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Barrie, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Currie Stormwater Management (SWM) Facility is an existing wet pond to be upgraded for greater water quantity and quality capacity. Project deliverables shall include the excavation and grading of a forebay, main cell, bypass channel, and berm works (approximately 25,400 cu. m. offsite disposal); construction of armour stone inlet works (approximately 485 tonnes); modifications to outlet structure including installation of headwall and hickenbottom structure; as well as installation of storm sewer works (approximately 95m), access road (approximately 215m), and emergency overflow. The full scope of Project Deliverables shall include, and be completed per, all specifications of the Contract Drawings and Tender Documents, including all related items such as all required erosion and sediment control measures, staging, restoration works, and any other works required to complete the work.
