As of June 5, 2024, this project is in the conceptual phase and it is on hold. An architect has not been selected. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Medford is accepting quotes for a Fire Alarm Consultant to upgrade their existing fire alarm system located at the Chevalier Theatre. This project will be in 2 phases, each phase will have a separate fee schedule. A single consultant will be contracted for both phases. Labor and Harmony and OSHA Training Certification: The lowest responsible and eligible company will be required to (1) furnish labor that can work in harmony with all other elements of labor employed or to be employed in the work; (2) ensure that all employees to be employed at the worksite will have successfully completed a course in construction safety and health approved by the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration that is at least 10 hours in duration at the time the employee begins work and who shall furnish documentation of successful completion ofsaid course with the first certified payroll report for each employee; and (3) ensure that all employees to be employed in the work subject to this bid have successfully completed a course in construction safety and health approved by the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration that is at least 10 hours in duration.
