New construction of a water / sewer project in Kamloops, British Columbia. Design plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
Construction of a potable water system at Paul Lake Provincial Park near Kamloops, BC. Water is supplied from an existing surface water source; however, due to poor water quality a groundwater well has been drilled and it is BC Parks' intention to switch to the new groundwater source. Water chemical analysis from the groundwater well shows elevated levels of Manganese and Iron in the sample. BC Parks wishes to upgrade the existing water treatment system to supply water from the new groundwater well and provide adequate Manganese and Iron removal in order to achieve levels consistent with the Canadian Drinking Water Quality Guidelines. TIMELINE: Design is ongoing Tender and construction timelines are undetermined. Further update may be available in late spring 2025, depending on budget availability.
