The City of Fayetteville, AR (owner) is accepting formal, sealed bids from properly qualified, experienced, and licensed contractors for the extension of Industrial Drive. The Contract includes, but is not limited to, the construction of approximately 2,800 linear feet of two-lane roadway from S Industrial Drive to S City Lake Road including demolition, removal and reconstruction of an existing concrete cul-de-sac and associated earthwork, curb and gutter, sidewalk drainage, and miscellaneous related items. The City of Fayetteville shall not be responsible for lost or misdirected bids, or failure of bidder's technical equipment. Each bid exceeding $50,000 shall be accompanied by a cashier's check from a bank doing business in the State of Arkansas or a corporate bid bond in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. In the event a bidder opts to submit a cashier's check for a bid bond, the actual physical cashier's check shall be delivered to the City prior to the deadline. A one hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bond is required with the contract awarded. A State of Arkansas Contractor's License is not required at time of bid; however, an application for licensure shall be required at time of bid and an approved contractor's license shall be required before execution of contract.
