**As of December 05,2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work of constructing Goodwin Street Gravity Sewer Line Rehabilitation will be let under one Contract. The principal items of work are detailed herein below. Principal Work: 1. 1,400 LF 8" Slip line Sewer 3. 1,400 LF Camera Work 5. 7 EA Manholes Replaced The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 120 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
