The Project consists of installation/construction of a Jet A fuel tank, concrete pad, dispensing equipment, and associated electrical items, as shown in the plans and indicated in the specifications. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bidders must be licensed to perform work within the state of Arkansas. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the Owner, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract to him. Such bid guarantee shall be made payable to WEST MEMPHIS AIRPORT COMMISSION. The successful bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. The CLIENT, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Bids must remain in effect for 90 days after the bid opening date. Within 90 days from the bid date, the Owner may award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder or reject any or all Bids for the Project. The WEST MEMPHIS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT COMMISSION reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive irregularities in the Bids and bidding deemed to be in the best interests of the WEST MEMPHIS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT COMMISSION, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids. Completion Days: 50 days
