You may email Tyler at jmccray@d19csb.com Purpose: Agency is seeking a Contractor to repair and renovate one of the Apartments located at Ellis Square Apartments -6310 Church Rd., North Dinwiddie, VA 23803. The Unit that is in need of repair and renovation is 6316. The Unit has 1 Living Room, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Kitchen and 1 Bathroom. Scope of Work: Flooring. o Prep existing slab, scraped, cleaned as needed. Possibly some leveling compound. o Install new (flooring LVT type) in all rooms, transition strips and molding trim. Cabinets o Remove the existing kitchen countertops. o Reinstall new countertop. o Install new hardware on cabinets. Bathroom o Install a new surround tub system. o Install new vanity mirror. o Install 2 towel bars and washcloth hanger. Plumbing. o Remove the bath toilet and reinstall. o Replace toilet seat. o Install drains in bathroom sink and kitchen sink. o Install new shower faucets and valve. o Install kitchen sink with new faucet Painting. o Patch all walls as needed. o Prep and clean all walls for painting two coats of paint. o Patch and repair sheetrock at the shower location as needed. No holes left in apartment. o Paint must be primed with killz adhesive high bond interior oil primer and oil base bher premium plus two coats or equal approved by District 19 CSB's Facilities Manager. (contractor supplies paint) Locks and doorknobs. o Replace all doorknobs in the unit o Install new deadbolt locks on entry doors. Windows Clean and install blinds Electrical Change out all fixtures, outlets, switches and plates. Including exhaust fan (sheetrock may need to be cut to fit) Smoke detectors. D19 will supply the following material for installation by contractor except where indicated. Must use licensed electrician for electrical install and licensed Plumber for plumbing install. -Flooring LVT with backing pad and transitions if needed -Cove base trim -Kitchen Sink Faucet (Drains are to be supplied by contractor) -Kitchen Faucet (Drains are to be supplied by contractor) -Counter tops -Cabinet hardware -Door handles and dead bolts all doors -Bathroom sink faucet -Toilet seat -Shower, tub faucets -Delta valve to pex pipe -Shower surround wall -Bath mirror -Towel racks x 2 -All light fixtures and exhaust fan -All receptacles and light switches including GFI and Plates for all.
