Renovation of a conference / convention center in Pacific Grove, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
The City of Pacific Grove (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to remove and replace, in kind, a segment of the asphalt shingle roof at Chautauqua Hall. The historic Chautauqua Hall building is owned by the City of Pacific Grove and is located at the corner of Central Avenue and 16th Street. The building serves a variety of purposes including recreational programming, community events, and private rentals. This project will re-roof the west facing half of the "Main Hall" roof and the bell tower at the project site. The project area is noted below in Figure A and is estimated to be approximately 2,600 SF. The request is to remove and replace, in-kind. More information is provided in the Scope of Work below.
