Renovation of a fire / police facility in Elgin, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Pingree Grove and Countryside Fire Protection District, Kane County, IL will solicit sealed bids from interested trade contractors for the Renovation of Fire Station No. 4. Bid Release 2 consists of the following trades: 07A-2 Roofing Re-bid. The proposed project consists of a 4,300 SF renovation of Fire Station No. 4. This bid process and award of the contract will be made in accordance with Section 11k of the Illinois Fire Protection District Act (70ILCS 705/11k). The PGCFPD reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, or to accept any bid or any part thereof, or to waive technical or legal deficiencies, if deemed to be in the best interest of the Fire Protection District. Instructions to bidders: Prospective bidders should contact Hargrave Builders to be placed on the bid list and given access to the project. All interested parties MUST contact the Construction Manager for project documents and to be considered an official bidder. Hargrave Builders will be utilizing BuildingConnected for the entire bidding process, including addenda, therefore all interested bidders must contact Hargrave Builders to have access to BuildingConnected. All requests and questions must be submitted via email including the company name, contact name, email address, and phone to mcomiskey@hargravebuilders.com. Bids are to be delivered to Hargrave Builders, 660 Schneider Drive, South Elgin, IL 60177. All bid packages including installation, must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to Hargrave Builders. The successful bidder may be required to obtain a Performance and Payment Bond. A Contractor's Qualification Statement must be submitted at time of bid, or already be on file with Hargrave Builders. Compliance with Prevailing Wages for Kane County is required for this project. This Project is Tax Exempt. Pingree Grove and Countryside Fire Protection District and Hargrave Builders reserves the right to reject any proposals or waive any bid irregularities.
