This contract consists of crushing, screening, and stockpiling up to 50,000 tons of crushed surfacing base coarse aggregate at the District material site near Mesa, Washington. The Contractor must complete all work by March 1, 2023. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the additional bonds prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to submit a bid on public work, bidders and their subcontractors shall hold such licenses and registrations as required by state statutes and codes and federal and local laws and regulations. This project is a public works construction project to be paid by public funds; therefore, the minimum prevailing wage rates, published by the State Department of Labor and Industries, are required. Following the bid opening, all bids will be tabulated, checked and evaluated by the Districts staff and Engineer. Tabulated bids will then be submitted to the Districts Board of Directors for consideration and award at the meeting beginning 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2022. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities as informalities in said bids.
