As of October 25,2022. Project was awarded to C.H. & D. Enterprises amounting $299,351.60 SR 48 & 148 TURN LANE PROJECT EPS #225921 In order to receive consideration, a proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made payable to the order of the City of McKeesport in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will immediately enter into Agreement after the Notice of Award of the Contract and commence construction immediately thereafter. Each proposal shall be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside with the words "Bid for SR 48 & 148 Turn Land Project". Predetermined wage rates as established by the U.S. Department of Labor apply as required with the Davis-Bacon Act and other Federal Labor Standard Provisions. Bidders shall comply with all State and Federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring or employment opportunities. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Pennsylvania Depart- ment of Transportation and submit proof thereof with their bid. No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid for the period as specified in the project bid documents after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The City of McKeesport reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all proposals, or any part thereof.
