North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University seeks proposals from qualified vendors with demonstrated competence and experience to provide plumbing repair and maintenance services on an "as needed" basis. The qualified contractors will be the annual plumbing service contractors for the University providing plumbing repair and maintenance as needed for the University Facility Department. The plumbing contract shall be for all repair, service, and maintenance work associated with the commercial plumbing trade. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Contract. The Contract shall have an initial term of three (3) years, beginning on the date of contract award (the "Effective Date"). At the end of the Contract's current term, the State shall have the option, in its sole discretion, to renew the Contract on the same terms and conditions for one additional one-year term. The State will give the Vendor written notice of its intent whether to exercise the option no later than ninety (90) days before the end of the Contract's then-current term. In addition, the State reserves the right to extend a contract term after the last active term.
