Renovation of a municipal facility in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Work of the Project, of which Work of this Contract is a part, comprises the following: Upgrade of existing fire alarm system Replacement of existing fire alarm devices with new Adding new fire alarm devices as required by NBC 2019 (AE) Provide interconnection to existing courthouse fire alarm system Note that fire alarm system is expected to be changed out in phases/stages in order to maintain existing building life safety at all times (Contractor shall provide detailed phasing plan/schedule for review by Engineer and Owner/Building Operator(s) prior to proceeding with work). Allow for the testing/programming and other costs for these partial verifications of the system; no additional costs from the Engineer are required for witnessing these partial verifications of the system.
