The City of La Crosse, by the undersigned Board of Public Works (BPW), will receive electronic proposals for doing the following public work in the City of La Crosse, Wisconsin: Brickyard & Millatti Ln Stormwater Repairs Drainageway erosion repair South of the intersection of Brickyard ln and Millatti Ln including: o Approximately 2800 Sq Yd of extra heavy Riprap with fabric o One new catch basin, and modifications to the existing structure o New outfall, approximately 70' of 36" RCP o Three new RCP culverts under a gravel access road, approximately 90' total The above public work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and shall be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for the same now on file with the Engineering Department for the inspection of bidders and in accordance with the prepared form of contract and bond also on file with said Engineering Department. No bid shall be awarded unless accompanied by Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, together with a list of Subcontractors; and no bid shall be received without certified check for not less than 5%, nor more than 10% of the total amount bid or a bid bond for not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the total amount bid. Bidder's Proof of Responsibility paperwork must be on file with the City of La Crosse. If not up-to-date, new paperwork shall be submitted electronically to the Director of Finance, via email at: apvendors @cityoflacrosse.org. The subject line shall be "Bidder's Proof." New submittals are due no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Thursday one week prior to bid, showing sufficient financial ability, equipment, and experience to properly perform the contract. The BPW decision regarding qualification is final. Bids will be accepted only from such qualified bidders. The Notice to Contractors, the Information to Bidders, the Bid Proposal, the Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, Bid Bond and list of Subcontractors, the PerformancePayment Bond, the General Conditions, Specifications, Plans, Addenda (if any), and all ordinances of the City applicable to this contract shall be considered a part of the contract. The time for commencement of the work shall be no sooner than ten (10) days after Common Council shall have awarded the contract and shall be completed by June 1st, 2023. Plans and Specifications may also be obtained from the City Engineer's office via CD's containing a PDF version of the bid specifications and plan sheets for $30.00. Fees are non-refundable.
