The Township of Cherry Hill hereafter referred to as the Township, requires the emergency services of qualified personnel, hereafter known as the Contractor, to ensure the safe operation of the Township's Traffic Signal System equipment, hereafter known as the System. The System equipment to be repaired/replaced on an emergency basis consists of, but is not limited to: traffic signal control equipment and cabinets; inductive loop detection; video detection; signal poles and mast arms; vehicular and pedestrian signal heads; pedestrian push buttons; cables; interconnect of various types; leased telephone communication connections; OPTICOM emergency pre-emption equipment with related equipment; solar speed signs; and school flashers located at various locations throughout the Township and emergency automatic generator switches. The Emergency Response, Signal Modifications, and Miscellaneous Electric Service of the System shall be known as the Base Bid. This bid is also being made available to the members of the Chery Hill Cooperative Pricing System Identifier #37-CHCPS and have agreed to participate as follows: COOPERATIVE PARTICIPATING MEMBERS: Audubon Borough, 606 W. Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ 08109 - EXHIBIT 3 Borough of Clementon, 101 Gibbsboro Road, Clementon, NJ 08021 - EXHIBIT 4 Township of Pennsauken, 5605 N. Crescent Blvd, Pennsauken, NJ 08110 - EXHIBIT 5 Each member has included in this specification a list of traffic signals and school flashers. If the responding vendor is not willing to extend pricing to the above members, it is understood that this will NOT adversely affect consideration of this bid in respect to the need of the Township of Cherry Hill as Lead Agency.
