The Edgar County Housing Authority is seeking requests for proposals for architectural/ engineering services for the 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, & 2026 fiscal years. The Housing Authority will re-quire architectural/engineering services to provide verification of existing conditions at sites, to develop bid documents, assist the PHA during the bid and award phases, perform inspections to ensure the work meets the specifications and is completed in a timely fashion. The Housing Authority will require the architect/engineer to respond with a letter of interest showing an understanding of the Capital Fund Grant modernization work planned, profiles of the firm's principal, staff, facilities and statement showing that the architect, and engineer, if necessary, are not disbarred. RFP's will be rated using the following point system: 30: Professional technical competence and previous PHA modernization experience. 25: Capability to provide professional service in a timely manner. 25: Past performance in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules. 10: Knowledge of local building codes. 10: General response to invitation.
