Generally, the project consists of a complete HVAC renovation to the existing 93,100 sq-ft middle school facility. Work shall consist of demolition, installation of all acoustical ceilings, roofing replacement, metal wall panel installation, water heater replacement, installation of geothermal piping systems, water source heat pumps, ductwork, insulations, dedicated ventilation air systems, HVAC controls, kitchen hood and make-up air systems, installation of electrical power, lighting, and lighting controls. The trades involved include but are not limited to: ceilings, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, insulation, geothermal, controls, and electrical. Electronic copies of the documents may be obtained through Paducah Blueprint for $50.00 non-refundable fee. The refundable portion of the deposit will be refunded for the return of complete sets (in usable condition) within fourteen (14) days after the bid opening. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER THE FOURTEEN (14) DAY RETURN PERIOD. TIMES FOR COMPLETION A. Start of Work: It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded soon after the bid opening, but that construction will not start on the project site until March 2023. B. Substantial Completion. Subject to the conditions of Article "Delays and Extensions of Time" of the General Conditions, the total work to be done under this combined construction contract shall be commenced upon execution of the contract agreement and shall be substantially completed in phases no later than July 19, 2024. C. Final Completion. Subject to the conditions of Article "Delays and Extensions of Time" of the General Conditions, the total work to be done under this combined construction contract shall be fully completed in phases no later than within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days from the Date of Substantial Completion .
