As of December 29, 2022, a design team has not been identified. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. The City of Ferguson is requesting proposals for a redevelopment plan of the City's Plaza @ 501 facility. The purpose of the redevelopment plan is to provide a multi-phase guide for the Parks Capital Improvement Plan to renovate the current Plaza at 501 facility (located at 501 S. Florissant Rd.) as well as expand the park onto additional city-owned property. Amenities are expected to include a large pavilion with a stage that can be used for the Ferguson Farmers Market and large community events, restrooms, an inclusive playground, and other amenities that the community feels would allow Plaza @ 501 to become a destination park for the surrounding communities. It is the intention of the City of Ferguson to hire one consultant who will host at least 2 community engagement events and then produce an initial plan for the site located at 501 N. Florissant Rd. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources.
