**As of October 31, 2022, project was awarded to Performance Cabling Technologies, awarded amount is $118,991.52* This document is issued as a request for proposal for the supply and installation of approximately 4,500 feet of conduit and fiber cabling between 308 Duncan St. Lillington, NC and 200 Alexander Dr. Lillington, NC. This route includes crossing the river which is approximately 600ft wide and four feet deep when it is at normal water levels. The fiber installation will provide another network route for Harnett County network connectivity in Lillington, NC. This document describes the system requirements to be met in the proposals of the telecommunications cabling vendors to secure under contract all materials, design, engineering, installation, and supervision for the fiber and conduit installation. Harnett County assumes that this will be a turnkey operation for the entire project. The bid package shall be accompanied by a presale warranty commitment binding the awarded contractor and manufacturer to the customer selected. It is the intent of the Drawings and Specifications to provide a complete workable telecommunication cabling system ready for the Owner's use. Any item not specifically shown on the Drawings or called for in the Specification, but normally required for a complete system, are to be considered a part of the contract. The Purchaser reserves the right to purchase ALL or PART of the cabling materials and Hardware needed for the project. Receipt of a bid response does not obligate the Purchaser to pay any expenses incurred by the bidder in preparation of the bid response or obligate the Purchaser in any other respect. The Purchaser reserves the right to modify the specifications contained in the Request for Proposal anytime during the bidding period. Only changes issued as an addendum will be binding upon the Purchaser. No verbal instructions or interpretations of requirements shall be accepted.
