Work shall begin at Weston Elementary School and then continue at other buildings with consultation with Kearsley Community Schools. Work is expected to begin on non-school business days throughout the 2022-23 school year and then continue throughout the summer months. The expectation is that 40-60 projectors will be installed by 6/15/23. This will ensure that the electrician supplying power to the new projectors will also have the opportunity to begin electrical work immediately on June 15, 2023. Summer work should begin on June 15, 2023 until the project is complete. In some instances, the classroom public announcement (PA) speaker is mounted in a location where the Epson 725Wi projector will need to be installed. When this occurs, the projector installer will need to relocate the PA speaker to the right or left of the Epson 725Wi projector by 3 feet. All PA cabling will need raceway to enclose the PA wires from the wall to the PA speaker so that wires are not exposed and the PA functions properly. Work for both Phase I and II shall be completed by August 18, 2023. This project will be completed in two phases. Phase I will consist of basic installation of wall mounts and projectors. Phase II will be completed following the electrical installation and will consist of projector calibration, pulling HDMI and USB cables related to the interactive functions of the Epson 725WI projector, connecting existing Apple TVs to the newly installed projector, and removal of the previous projector.
